I had to update my iPad to the new iPad Air 4 after my beloved 9.7 was sacrificed as a tool for my wife's vision problems and for some reason I feel like the screen is extra sensitive to oils and fingerprints when the Apple Pencil 2 runs across them compared to my old one.. which is inexplicable since they use the same tips. Regardless - I have ordered my first "Paper feel" screen protector and we shall see how it goes. Does anyone else use this type of protector? THIS is the one I got - It's sort of the lower price scale of the artist-style paper feel protectors, as opposed to the matte finish ones. It was $12 which seems reasonable if I like it but a lot more than a simple matte one. I have it, but have not applied it yet. Will update when I do.

Perhaps they made it extra sensitive to touch on the screen in an attempt to capture the artist market that Wacom tablets (and other artist tablets like them) had had pretty much captured?
Not to sound prurient, but have you tried the program Pro Create? I do not have an iPad, but I've seen videos of this program and it fills me with a lust for an iPad my bank account cannot afford.
